I’ve been an educator/ high school football coach/ head middle school wrestling coach and golf instructor for the last 22 years and added coaching track 10 years ago. I’m an avid outdoorsman who loves the sounds of crows. I grew up in a small farming community, (Kiel) next to I-43 and now live with my family in a quaint community (Mukwonago) next to I-43. I’m a story teller and love running into former students and hearing about their lives.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I’ve been happily married to my wife Tina for the last 20 yrs. I have 3 children, a son Hayden who is a sophomore at MHS. My oldest daughter Ella is a Freshman at MHS. My youngest daughter Zofia is a 5th grader at Clarendon Ave. elementary.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I started my career here at PVMS as a special education teacher. After 10 yrs. I switched over to my second degree and began teaching math at PVMS. I love teaching middle school aged children, everyday is an adventure.

22 yrs. worked and lived

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Mike Bolan, former owner of Eagle Springs Golf Resort

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would love to go on another trip to Ireland, but this time as a golf and pub destination trip.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
My comfort movies are, Goonies, Ghostbusters, and Hoosiers

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Be kind and put others first

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A guided hunting trip and or tickets to every round of the Masters

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Foo Fighters and Eric Church

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Eagle Springs Golf Resort and The Elegant Farmer

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Keith Hensler (former MHS football coach) He was my first mentor here in Mukwonago, I owe alot to that man. I would take him to David Allen Allen’s. David, the owner, is a former MHS football player.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Playing golf at the various courses that are all in close proximity.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Doing what I do now.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I like musicals and I contemplated being a florist after high-school.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Hawaii and Ireland, both were so green and took my breath away.

Q: Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
November is my favorite month, Christmas is my favorite holiday, and opening day of deer hunting season is the best day on the calendar.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
A perfect day, hunting for deer (antler) sheds with my children.
