Mukwonago is an amazing place to live. The village and town surround Phantom Lake, the Mukwonago river, and the Vernon marsh. It has the feel of a small town, but it is close enough to Milwaukee to and Waukesha. Ranked as one of Wisconsin’s best towns to raise a family, Mukwonago also ranks in the top 8% of state school districts.
There are a lot of seasonal activities where the local residents can be found having a great time. On a fall Friday night, you will find many of the residents at the Mukwonago High School football game. In summer months, Maxwell Street Days take place month at Field Park. It draws people from all over southeast Wisconsin. Other favorite events include: Fall Fest, The Father’s Day Parade, Midnight Magic, Summerfeste, and the Farmer’s Market.
