Please highlight your accomplishments while in High School.
Some of the accomplishments that I am most proud of pertain to the high school sports which I played. Throughout my time in high school I played three different sports, I lettered all 4 years in lacrosse and I’ve been the captain for the past two years. As a face-off specialist for the team I received all conference honors last year and I’m looking to build on that with another solid year of play. Beyond sports I participated in choir all four years at the high school including three years with the top ensemble concert choir. I’m proud to say that the last two years I have been a scholar athlete with a GPA of 3.5.
Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family is my support system. My mom and dad are always there for me and my two siblings. The three of us were all adopted and share a strong bond that we all know will always be something unique and special about us. At an early age I knew I had more than one family and my parents have always strived to keep my birth mother and the birth mothers of my siblings in contact with us. It has been something that has pushed me to be the best at whatever it is that I do.
What are your plans after graduation?
I will be continuing on with my lacrosse career at Concordia University(WI). I am looking forward to studying Construction Management and Education.
What are two of your favorite restaurants in our community?
Hickory Sticks at Morningstar and Fork in the Road.
If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
It may not seem like the most exciting place in the world, but I would like to go to Delaware as it is one of the last states I need to complete all 50. My parents took me and my siblings traveling and I have set a goal for us to have all 50 states done by the time we leave for college.
What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Wayne’s World is my favorite movie and I would say Criminal Minds is my favorite TV show.
If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
Take advantage of every opportunity that is given to you. You never know where those opportunities may lead you.
If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
The Brady Bunch.
If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
Greg Gurenlian who is one of the best face-off specialist ever to play lacrosse. I think it would be interesting to see what advice he would give me about moving onto the next level. I think we’d meet at Hickory Sticks.
What is your favorite thing about our community?
I think my favorite thing about our community is all the opportunities available to us even with as small as Mukwonago is.
What have you done to make Mukwonago a better place?
Two of the things that I am most proud of that has made Mukwonago a better place have been being a member of the Junior Optimist Club which does a variety of volunteer work throughout the community and the work I’ve done with the Mukwonago Lacrosse Club youth programs.
Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
It’s funny to think that in 5 to 10 years I could be following in either my dad’s footsteps on my mom’s footsteps. I’m hoping to either work in Construction Management or I hoping to become a teacher.
What is something on your bucket list?
Many years ago I saw a television show on spearfishing off the Florida coast. Since that day it is always been on my bucket list.
What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Khalid is my favorite singer at this time, but give it a day and that could change. I love all types of music.
Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is May because that is when my birthday is. Easter is my favorite holiday because I get to see a lot of my family at that time. The best single day on the calendar would be May 22 which is my birthday.
What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Hickory Sticks burgers and fries are on the top of my list.
Who inspires you to be better?
Although my mom and dad have always inspired me to be a better person. I have to say that my coach Billy Spingola has worked with me and giving me opportunities to not only be a better lacrosse player, but a better human being.
Who would you like to give a Shout Out to that contributed to your success?
I would not be where I am today without the love of my birth mother. A brave young mother that knew there was something better out there for me than what she could give me. Although she may not know this, I am forever grateful for her sacrifice.
