I was born in Waukesha and our family moved to Mukwonago in 1970 when I was eight years old. I played football and baseball for Mukwonago throughout high school and graduated in 1981. I built my current home in Mukwonago across the street from my childhood home in 1999. I have been involved with the Braves Youth Football program since 2000 volunteering as a 7th grade coach for 17 years, I am still a board member, run the clock for all the games on Saturdays as well as for the Freshman, JV, and Varsity teams, and added the LaCrosse teams this year.
