I am a wife, mother, full time employee and regional director of the Mukwonago Area Soccer Club through Milwaukee Kickers

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My husband and I moved to Mukwonago right when we were getting married. We have 2 teenage kids and a dog.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am currently about to enter my 25th year at Genera Power Systems. Started as a production planning intern in 1998 and evolved through the years and now am working as a Sr. Master Planner. As all careers have their ups and downs, but I really do appreciate the team I work with and the work that I do.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
I find myself gravitating towards Sol De Mexico, Badger Burger and David Alan Alan’s most

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I have lived here for 19 years.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
Kay Johnson of Kay’s Academy of Dance. She is an amazing person, her story is one to aspire to. I am grateful that my daughter has the opportunity to learn dance and the meaning of community through her.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Switzerland. I have a lot of family lineage there and it has always interested me.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
The National Treasure movies and The Big Bang Theory.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
It is possible to make something out of almost nothing with support and perseverance – if your heart is prepared for the challenge

To go on an Alaskan Cruise

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
My friend Amy. We grew up together in Green Bay, through our moms friendship. As life kept going, we have not been in touch as much as I would like. I would like to have lunch at Fork in the Road.

Q: What have you done to make Mukwonago a better place?
I have rebuilt a community soccer program to give kids and families options to be able to grow together through common interests.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
Anywhere my family is

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I shoot in a winter archery league.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Colorado Springs in October.

October, Christmas, August 20th.

My family – they challenge me, don’t hold grudges and keep me going
