I grew up in Northern Illinois outside of a small village. I started my career as a paid-on-call in the fire service when I was 19 for the Rockton Fire Protection District. I aggressively attended fire courses and EMS licensure. I progressed through several titles and responsibilities- Lt., EMS Coordinator, Deputy Chief. I was a part time Chief at Verona FD 2009-2011 and then found my home full time at Mukwonago FD 11-2011. I have been very involved in the Mutual Aid Box Alarm System as the President of Division 106 Waukesha County and the Waukesha County Fire Chiefs Association.
