My husband grew up in Mukwonago and went to high school here. We moved back to the area in 2018.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?
I’ve met quite a few interesting people in the community that are also small business owners like myself.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I love warm weather, sightseeing, and history. But right now a nice comfy hammock on a secluded beach will do!

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
I like a lot of different genres in movies and shows. I like comedy especially. My go to shows to rewatch and binge watch are New Girl and Friends.

Q: What advice would you give to people?
Don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t do something. If I would have listened to people telling me not to do things or I can’t do something I wouldn’t be where I am today. Living the dream of owning my own business!

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
I’m not very adventurous. So sky diving or swimming with sharks is no where on my list! I would say simply traveling to as many places as possible. Seeing the Pyramids, Eiffel Tower… etc.

Q: What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Journey Don’t Stop Believing or honestly 80s Hair Bands are my jam!

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
I would say any of the long term business utilizing the historic buildings downtown. Preserving that small town history is important to me. I’d love to move my spa into one of those buildings or older homes along Main Street someday.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
I would say Oprah Winfrey because I think she’d have a lot of great advice for me as a woman owning her own business and being successful. I think she’d like to go to a quaint coffee shop or small town restaurant like Espresso Love or Fork in the Road.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
I love the local events such as Fall Fest and Midnight Magic. Love seeing the downtown being utilized.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I’d love to expand my business into a building I own and continue servicing the community with our small town feel and services.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
I used to be very shy and introverted. It took me till my 20s to break out of my shell. Now I strike up a conversation with anyone and can talk in front of large crowds with no problem.

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
I visited Utah many years ago and I loved the mountains there, especially Bridal Veil Falls in Provo. Very memorable scenery.

The product line I use at my spa! Farmhouse Fresh Products are honestly the greatest all natural products I’ve ever used and the mission behind their company is inspiring.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?
My son. He is special needs (autistic) and I strive to be the best person I can be for him and his future. His smiling face and progress in his therapies shows me that hard work, perseverance, and determination.

Q: What is one or two of your favorite smells?
I love the smell of fresh clean laundry. And I love the smell of warm brownies baking in the oven.
