My wife Andrea and I live in Mukwonago, Wisconsin where we are raising our two sons, Owen (8) and Jace (5). Originally from Franklin, Wisconsin, I grew up playing sports year round as a kid. Following high school, I attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where I lettered four years in football and twice in wrestling. I had great mentors and coaches throughout my life. I am thankful for all of them.

Now that I have kids, I find myself trying to pay it back. I am heavily involved in our local youth sports programs here in Mukwonago. I coach soccer, football, wrestling, and baseball. I also serve on our area youth football board of directors. I believe in the value of sports because of the lessons we can learn from working both individually and on a team.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My wife Andrea is from Bay View, Wisconsin. We met in college at UW-Whitewater. We have two sons: Owen (8) and Jace (5). They keep us busy and we wouldn’t want it any other way!

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I worked as an actuary for four years following college. Afterwards, I spent seven years working in higher education. Currently, I work as the financial officer for the Mukwonago Area School District. All of my experiences have required me to use “big data”. I love working with data sets that allow for me to uncover trends that tell a story, be it financial matters or academic outcomes for students.
