I was also secretary of SAVE (Students Against Violence Everywhere) my junior year and I am now Vice President my senior year. With this, I have also been able to maintain a 3.979 GPA and have taken six AP classes as well as many other college courses throughout my time at MHS. I have been able to receive four varsity letters throughout my years at MHS between three different sports. I have been awarded Scholar-Athlete by Spectrum News 1 as well as the Kiwanis Student of the Month.

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family and I have been fortunate to be extremely close throughout my entire life. I have two older sisters, Allison (22) and Jessica (24). They have been my biggest role models as I have been able to see them take on life and its challenges growing up. My mom, Annette, and dad, John, have been my biggest support system throughout high school attending every soccer game, dance recital, and cross country meet. I am extremely grateful for the family I have and all that they have done for me.

What are your plans after graduation?
I plan to attend UW-Madison in the fall majoring in pre-nursing. My hope is to attend nursing school at UW-Madison and then possibly receive a master’s in science and healthcare administration.

My two favorite restaurants are Lulabell’s Dockside and Hickory Sticks at Morningstar Golfer’s Club.

I would love to travel to Sweden because I have a friend who lives there. I would love to visit her and see the differences in culture from the United States.

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
One of my favorite movies is Up and my favorite tv show is New Girl.

If you were asked to give advice to your senior class and the younger students at your school, what would you say?
I would say to not be afraid to get involved and try new things. High school is the perfect time to try new things as well as figure out what you’re truly passionate about.

If you were able to be cast as yourself into a television show or series, what show would you want to be in?
New Girl

If you could choose anyone to have lunch with, who would you choose? Why? And where, locally, would you meet for this lunch?
I would choose Clara Barton. She was a nurse and started the American Red Cross. Throughout my time at Mukwonago High School I have been the chair of our blood drive committee. I have been able to help organize and run various different drives that in total have saved about 1,500 lives. This has been a large part of my life and I would love to meet and talk with Clara Barton about how it all started long ago.

What is your favorite thing about our community?
My favorite thing about our community is the passion we have for our sports and activities. Through attending various events at Mukwonago High School, I have been able to see how close and interconnected our community truly is. My favorite moment was when our basketball team raised money for Make a Wish. It was amazing to see how much good our community can do for other people.

What have you done to make Mukwonago a better place?
I have volunteered a lot of my time to make our community more connected and passionate about sports and events. I have also volunteered at various places around the community including the Mukwonago Thrift Store, Food Drive, and St. James Parish.

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I hope to be starting a job in either a nursing role or some sort of leadership role in the hospital. I also hope to settle down and start a family.

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is June because I love the end of the school year. It is a time of excitement for the summer, but also a great time to be able to reflect on all of the hard work I have put in throughout the year. My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas because I love the happiness and kindness around this time of year. I also love the time I am able to spend with my family. This is also why the single best day out of the year is December 25th.

Getting off the dance competition stage and knowing you gave it your all.

Who inspires you to be better?
My sisters inspire me to be better because I have been able to look up to all of their accomplishments throughout the years. Although both of them are pursuing very different careers, they put all of their love and passion into it.

Who would you like to give a Shout Out to that contributed to your success?
I appreciate my teachers and coaches as they have made such a large impact on my life and future success. However, most importantly I would like to give a shout-out to my family for being my biggest role models and supporters.
