I am a husband, dad, teacher, coach, and lifelong community member of Mukwonago.
 

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been married to Alison for 22 years – we met in college almost 27 years ago to the date. We have three children – Riley (19) is in the Army Reserves and studying at UW-Madison. Brady (17) is a senior and Annie (14) is a 9th grader. Both attend MHS

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a Health Educator and our head wrestling coach at MHS. Working with young people is such a privilege and to know you had that role of influence in helping them become a better

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
My wife and I love to walk to Fork in the Road from our home.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
I was born and raised out here in 1975. I took the job teaching at Mukwonago High School in 1998.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you've met here in our community?
Rod Vick – He's my former cross country coach. Could motivate you to run a race, quote poetry, and use journaling as a coach. An author, local historian, and an outstanding man.

Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Amsterdam – We have an exchange student living with us from the Netherlands

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Braveheart – my mom is Scottish and love the William Wallace story

Q: What advice would you give to people?
I do this for a living with students and teaching Health.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Want to learn how to surf with my friend and former MHS teacher Vince Komar in Hawaii

Q: What is your go to band when you can't decide what to listen to?
Will Morrison – Acoustic Christian performer

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?
Elegant Farmer – used to pick strawberries there. Jay's Lanes – my folks used to bowl on Sunday nights growing up with my best friends parents.

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y'all meet for this lunch?
Tom Ryan – Head Wrestling Coach Ohio State – He's pretty disciplined, so maybe Subway after a morning run.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
Love how the community rallies behind one another and Mukwonago High School

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
We are all day-by-day, but hopefully still slugging it out at MHS ")

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don't know about you?
I never broke a bone until last year at the end of wrestling season. I have a weird memory and can remember facts or matches from twenty years ago. It's quirky…

Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Boundary Waters – 15th Anniversary – Canada – Amazing place to canoe

June (start of summer), Easter, and Thanksgiving (best day on calendar).
