What High School do you attend?
Mukwonago High School

Please highlight your accomplishments while in High School.
Athletically, I was a three year varsity player for the Mukwonago Soccer team. In these three years I received three All Conference awards, being named 1st team All Conference and All State my senior year , as well as being a Scholar Athlete each year. I was also Captain of the varsity team both my Junior and Senior years. Academically, I have been able to achieve a 3.96 GPA while taking a total of 8 AP classes, two dual enrollment classes and numerous honor level classes. In addition to this, I was named Student of the Month this past October. I also hold a couple of leadership positions, which include being Secretary of National Honors Society and a Spanish Club Officer. In terms of extracurricular activities, I have been part of numerous clubs here at Mukwonago High School, participated in the Student’s of the Year Campaign through the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society where I raised $40,000 to go towards cancer research, and attended Badger Boys State this past summer.

Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family members are my biggest supporters. My mom, Laurie, and my dad, Jaime, got divorced when I was young but still have a great connection. They both got remarried. My mom to my step dad, Brian, and my dad to my step mom, Kim. I also have two dogs, Gussie at my dads house, and Bailey at my moms.

What are your plans after graduation?
I am attending St.Norbert College to continue my academic and athletic career.

What is your favorite meal?
Pasta with white sauce and andouille sausage.

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
Ecuador so I can spend time with my family who live there and explore the beautiful country.

What are your favorite movies? TV shows?
Napoleon Dynamite is my favorite movie and my favorite TV show is YOU.

Who was/is your favorite teacher/coach from any grade? Why?
My favorite coach was Coach Montanye who was my high school soccer coach. I came into the program a small, scared Sophomore but Montanye changed this. He believed in me even when my confidence was low and caused me to be the person and player that I am today.

What is your favorite thing to do in Mukwonago?
Definitely attending the Mukwonago sports games. The atmosphere is always great and I get to spend time with my friends while cheering on my fellow peers.

If you were asked to give advice to the younger students at your school, what would you say?
You can achieve anything you put your mind to. If you want to complete something and you work hard, anything is achievable.

If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?
Aaron Rodgers. My family and I have been die-hard Packer fans since the day that we were born. With my dad having season tickets, I have been attending Packer games ever since I was in elementary school.  I would take him to David Alan Alan’s to discuss his career in Green Bay and about the recent events that have caused him to get traded.

What is your favorite thing about our community?
My favorite part about the Mukwonago community is how close everyone is. Whenever I am anywhere in town, I always run into someone that I know or someone that one of my parents know.

What have you done to make Mukwonago a better place?
Being part of NHS here at the high school has allowed me to better the community through many service projects. Also leading a team in the Student of the Year Program through the Leukemia and Lymphoma society not only allowed me to raise money for finding a cure, but it also hopefully spread awareness throughout the Mukwonago community.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I see myself graduated from college with a job in the sports industry, a wife, and 2 kids, one boy and one girl.

Have you ever had a nickname? What is it and why were you given it?
Dave. Not really sure how it started but it has stuck. Most people at school call me it and even my teammates on my club soccer team call me it as well.

What are you passionate about?
I am most passionate about the things that I love, such as my friends, my family, sports, school, and more.

What is something on your bucket list?
Skydiving has always been something that I wanted to do with my friends one day.

What is your go to band / singer when you can’t decide what to listen to?
Lil Uzi Vert

Favorite month? favorite holiday? and best single day on the calendar?
My favorite month is July, favorite holiday is Christmas and the best single day on the calendar September 10th.

What would you rate a 10 out of 10?
Piggy(aka my girlfriend) and my mom’s cooking.

Who inspires you to be better?
My Grandpa Jose. He was a phenomenal soccer player, as he played professionally in South America, and even a better person.

Who would you like to give a Shout Out to that contributed to your success?
All four of my parents. They have put so much time and effort into my academic and athletic career which has allowed me to have so much success and be where I am today.
