I grew up in Frederick, Maryland. I am the youngest of 4 kids – I have two older sisters and an older brother. My parents are both from upstate New York with family in the Northeast, so I spent time there growing up but loved living in Maryland. I played lacrosse in college and that is what brought me to the University of Michigan where I met my now fiancé, who played baseball at Michigan. We lived in Michigan for a few years after graduating but in October we moved to Wisconsin after my fiancé got a new job. He is from Merton, but we currently live in Pewaukee with our Golden Retriever, Griffey. I work in sales full time and coach the Mukwonago Girl’s Lacrosse Varsity team.
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am the youngest of 4 kids – my siblings and I are all very close. Growing up my dad was in banking and still is today. He now runs a bank in Western Maryland, Woodsboro bank. My mom stayed at home to raise 4 kids who were all involved in various extracurricular activities. She now works for a tech security company in Frederick, MD. Both of my sisters live in Maryland – one in Baltimore, married with two kids and my other sister lives in Frederick and is a high school Spanish and history teacher. My brother is in the Marine Corps and is currently stationed in Columbus, OH with his wife, son and soon to be second child.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I have always been in sales – I used to be in staffing and worked out of Detroit, but I currently work for an information services company, TalentNeuron formerly part of Gartner. My favorite part is that I work with companies all over the US and give them the data to make strategic decisions surrounding talent, office locations, diversity initiatives, etc. Coming from the staffing industry, I understand the talent landscape and the hyper-competitive environment that is today, so it is very gratifying to be able to equip companies with data to help make these decisions.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?
To be honest, I have not been able to explore Mukwonago yet. I live in Pewaukee, and it seems that every time I am in Mukwonago, it is for something lacrosse related! I was given an Elegant Farmer pie and flew it home with me for Christmas. Suffice to say, I am not allowed to come home without one ever again!
Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?
7 months – just work in the community part time.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

Q: What advice would you give to people?
My dad always says, “the only place success comes before work, is in the dictionary” and as I have grown up, that quote has proven to be true time and time again. Whether it’s about work, lacrosse, relationships, you name it – it’s always applicable.

I would have lunch with Tom Brady. I have always been a fan of his and when I decided to go to Michigan, it increased my obsession. I am not sure where I would eat locally for lunch – looks like I need to explore the Mukwonago restaurant scene a bit!
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?
My favorite thing is the true sense of togetherness and pride that Mukwonago has. I have never felt so welcomed before. Everyone is always offering a helping-hand and it amazes me just how nice everyone is!
Q: What have you done to make Mukwonago a better place?
I do not really think I have done anything just yet; however, I aim to grow the girl’s lacrosse presence and build my current and future teams to be great lacrosse players, but also really great young women.

I really hope to be living in the Mukwonago community by then – I see myself still being with Mukwonago lacrosse and to have their program being one of the best in the state!
